I originally planned to lay all the shit out and take a picture for this before packing, maybe a couple while packing to show how amazing the travel cubes are. However I am stupid and it didn’t even cross my mind at the time. So ya’ll are gonna just have to deal with a boring ol’ list and maybe I’ll slide in a few drab pictures.
Clothing wise the best advice I got was that no matter what I pack I should be able to randomly grab a shirt and a pair of pants that go together. That means no outfits where “this shirt only goes with those pants” because that just becomes too much of a hassle. So without further ado the clothing items I decided to pack:
Because I’m going in November and the temperature will be a lower I had to pack clothes that are warms and I could layer so it definitely bulked up my bag.
Like I mentioned in my previous post I got the Mother Lode TLS Weekender Convertible Bag from eBags. It is fantastic. It was designed with smart travel in mind and I have no problem fitting everything in. It is within TSA size regulations and has straps on the side to compress it down if needed. My only qualm is that it doesn’t have a waist strap and if you were going to be carrying for an extend time I can imagine you would want one.
I also packed a ton of miscellaneous items such as a plug adaptor, and flip flops for showering. I have two phones chargers, and two pairs of headphones just incase and I got a portable charger since I will be relying on my phone for directions and don’t want to end up lost with a dead battery. One of the most important things I packed was a “first aid kit”. Which was specifically adapted to me and what I use most often. I packed band aids, pepto-bismol, Dramamine, Excedrine, Advil, antibiotic cream, Benadryl, decongestant, tweezers, nail clippers, and wet wipes.
I’m probably forgetting 6,000 important things I packed, but I’ll add them later as they come to me. Anyway next time I’ll be in Dublin! See ya then!
