I suppose some would refer to me as a “daydreamer.” During school often parent teacher conferences went along the lines of, “Jenna is doing well in school, however her mind tends to wander.” Or in certain occasions I would cross from a daydreamer, to really truly dreaming while drooling on my desk. Although whether I was stuck in dreamland about whatever book I had been reading at the time, or off across the world “exploring” I was always slipping into a false reality. Due to my constant state of daydreaming I have accumulated quite the bucket list over the years, here it is.
Travel
Santorini, Greece – my grandma swears up and down it’s the most beautiful place she’s ever seen
Isle of Skye, Scotland – or really any part of Scotland. For years my “bucket list” obsession has circled around Scotland. I was able to go to Scotland in 2019 and it was as amazing as I imagined.
New Zealand – how is it possible that desert, waterfalls, mountains, and ocean are all within a 20-mile radius, New Zealand that’s how
Paradise Falls, Venezuela – literally anyone who has seen “UP” can agree
Tromso, Norway – the most magical winter wonderland
Denali National Park, Alaska – wide open skies and mountains, what else do you really need
Adventure
Visit all 50 states – 25/50
Visit all 7 continents -2/7 🙁
Hike Mount Kilimanjaro – the ultimate climb
Visit all 61 National Parks – 10/61
Skydive – I went with my grandma, does it get much better??
Scuba in the Great Barrier Reef – one of those things I believe you have to see to comprehend the sheer beauty
See the 7 World Wonders – anything called the “world wonders” deserves recognition
See the Northern Lights – the daydream that started it all. I was able to see the northern lights in Alaska!
Go to the Olympics – because why the hell not
Cage Dive with Great Whites – so many reasons not to, but sharks!
African Safari – We should always capitalize on seeing wildlife in the wild
Backpack across Europe – Fairly sure every self-proclaimed daydreamer has this on their bucket list. I made a start on this and backpacked the UK.
NYE in NYC – Maybe my “New Year’s Eve” Zac Efron moment will happen, a girl can only hope.
Ride a camel in Egypt – one of my favorite stories about my grandpa involves a camel and the pyramids
Personal Strides
Learn ASL – the first thing I achieved on this list!
Write a book – we all have a story to tell, regardless of it is published
Get a psychic reading – we could all do with a little insight help. I had a guest give me a reading in Alaska!
Make pasta from scratch – carbs make everything better
